Good design is not beautiful.

Or at least, good design is not just beautiful. Good design delivers a message, whether that's to establish trust in a brand, set the tone of a room, or call a people to action.

And so in the pursuit of good design, I draw upon on a range of technical skills from my background as an artist, a musician, a journalist, a printer's granddaughter, and, most importantly, a writer. Because good design is, fundamentally, capturing and telling a story.

Professionally, I like to call myself a "full-stack creative." I'm now in my sixth year of it.

Outside of work, I draw inspiration from quiet time in the mountains to make digital and oil paintings. I have been blessed to see my work featured in international exhibits, local galleries, markets, and mercantile shops. But the greatest gift art has given me is a community of inspirational, supportive, like-minded people without whom none of my successes would have happened.
